Queries the USGS FDSN event catalog near a lat/lon within a radius (or the global M5+ feed when no point is given) over the last N days and returns each event (magnitude, place, time, depth, PAGER alert, significance) plus a code-computed summary: count, max/avg magnitude, risk level. No LLM, no key, public domain.

Unlike /v1/apis, this surface does not rank Apiosk-settled listings above federated ones — a comparison that reorders on commercial grounds is not a comparison. Pass sort=managed_first for the catalog's ordering.
